The Privilege Project

In 2014, as first year new media students at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism tasked with completing a semester-long project that showcased their newly learned videography, photography and coding skills, Zainab Khan, Shaina Shealy and Lena Halteh, decided to unpack the concept of privilege by asking 22 strangers to discuss their personal experiences regarding gender, race and wealth and filmed their conversations.
